Recap of all things LENZ Sports in the month of October
Hey Everyone!
We hope you had a great October! And if your fall sports season has concluded, we hope it was full of fantastic moments.
Our October was a busy one here at LENZ Sports. We wrapped up our 2025 LENZ Baseball Events slate with a 70+ team Malice In The Mainline tournament. The week following Malice In The Mainline, the company went right into a summit. Here is the recap from Matt Wray, Co-Founder & Managing Partner:
"This month, our Managing Partners were able to partake in our LENZ 2026 Strategy Summit to outline the company's direction for the 26' Fiscal Year. Each line of business for us has a common theme for next year, which is vertical growth & new sports offered. For Events, our 26' focus will be geared towards increasing out-of-state team participation, enhancing the gameday experience by adding umps & limiting field-to-field travel, and introducing new tournament formats that have been mirrored from other leagues. For Sports Gear, we want to continue to expand our relationship with New Balance, and start to build full school contracts & large sports organizations, while also increasing our order tracking process to be fully automated. For licensing & media, our goal is to make 2-3 more acquisitions of media platforms in new sports."
As we get ready for year two, we made it a priority to launch a brand new website that presents everything we offer for youth sports in one place. Whether you want to check out our events or see what we have to offer in custom apparel, it now can all be accessed through one platform: lenzsports.com
Our 2026 LENZ Baseball Event slate is up on our new website! For the spring and summer, we brought back Main Line Madness, Mother’s Day Special, Memorial Day Weekend Slugfest, and Diamonds Of Delco Classic.
What’s New With LENZ Baseball Events?
We have made a few changes to our event details moving forward.
Our baseball tournaments will now be exclusively at the following complexes:
8U-12U: The Jack Daly Baseball Complex (Newtown Edgmont) & Field of Dreams (Berwyn). Both are 5+ field complexes with great amenities!
13U-14U: Gable Park (Newtown Edgmont), Devon Prep, & Marple Newtown High School. All three are beautiful turf fields!
13U-14U baseball games will have two umpires
We have a strict cap for our events. This is to ensure that every team has a solid schedule for the weekend. If you are a coach or team administrator who has participated in our baseball events before, please note that this change will lead to our registration being shut down much earlier.
On the Sports Gear side of LENZ Sports, shoutout to Kings Baseball for being the first team to rep the official LENZ custom uniform. These uniforms are our own apparel line, with unlimited customization options. They are high quality material for a comfortable feel in-game, and they are an affordable option for organizations who are ordering a large quantity of uniforms.
We are happy to offer this uniform option to teams, as it expands our sports uniform portfolio. Through LENZ Sports Gear, teams can get custom New Balance uniforms, custom Augusta Sportswear / Momentec Brands uniforms, and now LENZ Uniforms.
For details on uniform orders, please contact Gavin Grande, Director of Baseball Operations, at [email protected]

To wrap up our October recap, we have a promotion to announce! Pat Toal has been part time with us for quite some time, and we are thrilled to announce his full-time employment with us at LENZ Sports in the role of Head of Business Operations. Mike Palumbo, Co-Founder & CEO shared his thoughts on Pat’s new role:
“Pat’s been a wonderful add to our team. Matt and I recognized that as our apparel business has grown exponentially, we need the right type of person to oversee the fulfillment of that process. And he’s done a fantastic job so far ensuring orders are delivered more timely & accurately.”
Pat Toal plays a major role in making sure our LENZ Sports Gear service is a positive experience for teams receiving all of the cool custom apparel we offer.
We have tons of exciting new features and youth sports service details being announced over the next few weeks, so stayed tuned! As always, we appreciate everyone’s support.
Thank you,
Mike Palumbo & Matt Wray - Co-Founders, LENZ Sports
