We hope you had wonderful Thanksgiving and quality time spent with your families. The entire LENZ team is extremely thankful for all the trust and support we’ve received from you as we continue to build on our goal to unify the experience in youth sports.

As we are in the midst of the youth baseball off-season, TeamSnap announced the launch of their new platform, TeamSnap ONE. Matt Wray, LENZ Co-Founder & Managing Partner, has some industry thoughts to share on this news and how it compares to GameChanger:

"A few weeks ago, sports-tech giant TeamSnap announced the launch of their new platform, TeamSnap ONE. Aimed to service the entire youth sports experience from sign-up to gameday, the largest new feature in the platform is their live streaming tools. The obvious feel of this move is a direct response to the other sports tech titan in the space, GameChanger, as they've amassed an immense amount of market share in the live streaming capabilities. While some may view the move as responsive, the reality is TeamSnap's race for market share has been ridiculously impressive since their journey began in 2009, holding over 30 million users on the platform. TeamsSnap has built what is the standard for team management, while GameChanger has become a verb when it comes to live streaming games.... will be excited how this plays out.”

Baseball tournament registration is off to a rapid start. 70 teams have already signed up for the 2026 LENZ Baseball Spring / Summer Event slate. A focus for us has been to bring in some out-of-state teams to compete against the local teams that participate in our events. We can not wait to see the atmosphere come this spring!

In November, we launched a sports equipment retail store on our website. Teams can take advantage of our partnerships with top brands such as New Balance, Rawlings, and Easton, to get great pricing on many items. The Team Restock store is perfect for leagues and organizations that need to bulk order things like baseballs, helmets, and tees. The Player Gear store is full of great holiday gift items for parents to shop for their youth athletes.
