Recap of all things LENZ in the month of December
Happy New Year everyone! We hope the holiday season treated you well, and your 2026 is filled with amazing moments.
Matt Wray, LENZ Sports Co-Founder & Managing Partner, has some industry thoughts to share as we move into the new year:
"As an exciting year in the sports industry comes to a close, it is incredible to see the vast amount of innovation and disruption that transpired. A thing to closely monitor for 2026 (while it is obvious) is the FIFA World Cup coming to the US this summer. I think we may see an uptick in the "Academy Model" being built in the big 4 sports, as it is used in the soccer world. With youth sports continuing to skyrocket, and the flush of NIL money continuing to move down the funnel, pro-teams will have zero barriers to begin feeding the best talent in the country under their roof, with an added revenue model. Think 'Philadelphia 76ers Academy' with the 12 best athletes at each age level in Philly"

Basketball is HERE! Six youth basketball tournaments will be a part of the LENZ Sports event slate in 2026. Four of the six are available for registration now at https://www.lenzsports.com/basketball-tournaments.
LENZ Youth Basketball Events are designed for girls and boys travel & CYO level teams aged 4th-8th grade. They will take place at school schools in the Delaware County, PA and Montgomery County, PA area, and incorporate a similar events model to the LENZ Youth Baseball & Softball events.
LENZ Sports Gear services are also available for youth basketball teams. Organizations can set up team stores or direct ordering portals with top brand custom uniforms and apparel through our website. LENZ also has access for great pricing on the popular New Balance basketball shoes! Coaches and organization leaders can get started by submitting a catalog request form at https://www.lenzsports.com/sports-gear.

Precision Performance Physical Therapy is now the Official Sports Rehabilitation Partner of LENZ Sports. Precision Performance empowers individuals to lead more active pain free lives by hiring relationship focused individuals who value professionalism, life-long learning, and teaching to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. They promote health and recovery by investing in top-of-the-line equipment and facilities that create a welcoming, non-judgmental community of achievement and provide for optimal progress.
Precision Performance recently purchased and developed a Recovery RV, fully equipped with all of the most up-to-date hyperice recovery equipment. Included in the partnership, the Precision Performance Recovery RV will be present at all LENZ Events.

Three youth softball tournaments have been added to the 2026 event slate. These events are available for the 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions, and take place in Delaware County, PA. Last June, LENZ ran its first softball event and it went extremely well. The team can’t wait for the three scheduled this year.
Furthermore, Mother’s Day Special (May 9-10) and Firework Frenzy (July 18-19) will take place on the same weekends as LENZ Youth Baseball Events, setting up some action-packed weekends for youth sports in the Main Line area.

As you can see in the graphic above, a ton a spectacular events are coming. 2026 will be a great year!
All the best,
Mike Palumbo & Matt Wray - Co-Founders, LENZ Sports
